🚨 Starting TODAY, Japan is refunding tourists’ taxes in digital yen over the AVAX network 👀

While everyone watches the price, blockchain is becoming part of everyday life.

✈️ As of this November 1, Japan has changed its tax-free shopping system: tourists pay the full price and get their tax refunded when they leave the country. One refund company now lets them receive that money in a yen-pegged stablecoin, sent over the Avalanche network directly to the traveler’s wallet. Fewer card fees, and every payment is recorded.

🔺 This is real-world use, not speculation. AVAX was one of the biggest gainers today, reaching around $8.80, though it’s still down significantly for the year. For investors, what matters is whether these use cases bring consistent volume to the network.

🏦 Something similar is happening in Hong Kong: a consortium led by an international bank has partnered with Solana to issue its Hong Kong dollar stablecoin there. In addition, $250 million in new USDC was created on Solana. SOL is hovering around $95, still yet to react.

🟠 Bitcoin is moving steadily near $77,900, following yesterday’s Saturday close at around $77,400.

Banks and governments are already choosing networks. Which one are you betting on, AVAX or SOL? 👇
