Binance withdrawals expand to 12 chains tonight: Polygon and Avalanche also go live at 19:31
The 17:38 update only covered Ethereum and BSC. More chains have been added since: XRP and Base around 17:38; Dogecoin and Optimism at 18:03; Tron and Arbitrum at 18:48; Solana at 19:15; and Polygon and Avalanche at 19:31. By the 19:33 roundup, 12 of the initial 15 chains were live.
The most practical change for most people is Tron: USDT withdrawals via TRC20 are finally available. Chain News tested it this evening and found the fee was about 4 USDT, with a minimum withdrawal of 10 USDT. That’s more expensive than the roughly 0.6 USDT fee for ERC20, but Tron is widely used and its transfer process is familiar.
Based on the initial list, three chains are still unavailable: ZEC, TON, and SUI. There’s still no timeline for the second phase or the remaining coins. Binance’s position remains: “We’ll open them batch by batch once security checks are complete.”
The market hasn’t shared the excitement: $BTC is around $77,945 (24h +0.56%), and $SOL is around $95.26 (24h -0.51%). The resumption of withdrawals solves the problem of being able to move your funds—not whether prices will rise.
Risk warning: Withdrawals may be delayed or briefly fail during peak periods. Check the address and network before withdrawing, and don’t click unofficial links.
Which chain are you still waiting on? Are you waiting for ZEC, TON, or SUI, or have you already withdrawn?
