Volvo has announced that it will cut another 2,500 jobs amid falling sales, according to a company statement. Of these, 2,000 positions will be in Sweden. Earlier, during 2025, the company had already cut around 3,000 jobs. The latest wave of layoffs follows an operating loss of 5.6 billion Swedish kronor recorded in the third quarter, as well as a nearly 50% plunge in revenue in China.
