Dan Turrentine, who served as chief of staff to Colorado Gov. Jared Polis when he was in Congress, said that Republicans are vulnerable in places they should not be.
He pointed to Texas, Mississippi, Kansas, and South Carolina, where the nominees are underperforming.
Republicans hold a 53-47 majority right now.
Even though Turrentine also flagged that polling has struggled to catch late shifts in recent cycles, so nobody knows how those races finish.
