South Korea’s October foreign trade data surged again. Imports rose 36% year over year, below the forecast of 39.9%; exports soared 93.7%, well above the forecast of 93.2%. The preliminary trade surplus hit an astonishing $42.5 billion, far exceeding the market forecast of $37.24 billion, while the previous figure was also revised upward to nearly $50 billion.
