๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท Iran has outlined its conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, demanding sanctions relief, a reduction in American forces in the region, and an end to fighting on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi said Tehran's proposal is currently the only plan under consideration for restoring navigation through the strait.

Qatar initially proposed reducing the implementation period to five days, but negotiations have now produced a proposal that would shorten it to just two days.

However, Tehran is attaching significant conditions to any agreement.

These include lifting sanctions imposed after the Islamabad memorandum, restoring Iranian oil export waivers and releasing all frozen Iranian funds, including those held in Qatar.

Iran is also demanding recognition of a new shipping route established with Oman through the Strait of Hormuz, with all other routes closed.

On the nuclear issue, Araghchi confirmed that mediators have submitted proposals that Iran is now studying as part of the second phase of negotiations.

The latest developments follow more than 12 hours of Qatari-mediated talks in Tehran yesterday, with diplomatic efforts continuing in Doha today as Washington and Tehran seek a possible agreement before the midterms.
