I sincerely think that @CZ is probably one of the most principled and influential men the crypto ecosystem has ever known.
Without him, the industry probably wouldn’t be where it is today.
We might still be living in a time when cryptocurrencies were largely seen as a world of scams, manipulation, and shady dealings.
He built #Binance , which became the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in the world, with more than 100 million active users every day.
And yet, he chose to step back, leave his position, and move on.
But faced with this hacking incident, he could easily have left his team to handle the crisis. After all, he was no longer officially responsible for it.
And yet, he chose to get personally involved. He spent a good part of the night stepping in, addressing concerns, and trying to reassure the community.
Beyond @binance, that’s also what stands out: a man’s commitment to the ecosystem he helped build.
And that deserves recognition.
