Bank of America will pay $2 million to resolve allegations that it improperly denied disputes over unauthorized debit card and ATM transactions. The settlement covers customers whose disputes were denied by Bank of America between May 6, 2023, and July 14, 2026. Eligible customers who submit valid claims will share the settlement fund equally after fees and costs. The settlement website says Bank of America denies any wrongdoing and agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty and expense of continued litigation. Customers must submit claims by December 11 using the identification number provided in the settlement notice.
