#hype has recently experienced a significant pullback, with the decline accelerating from Friday evening and continuing into Saturday. According to the latest data, HYPE has fallen to $88.24, down about 5.2% in 24 hours, significantly underperforming major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

Previously, HYPE attracted market attention after announcing a proposed partnership with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, driving its price up to a high of $97.99. However, as the partnership still requires regulatory approval, buying interest fueled by the positive news gradually weakened, and the price subsequently retreated.

The decline was mainly driven by two factors: first, continued outflows from the altcoin market and a decline in investors’ risk appetite; second, the Binance hack, which heightened market caution and led some investors to exit.

Notably, there is currently no indication that the Hyperliquid protocol itself has encountered any problems. This pullback is more closely related to market sentiment and capital flows. In the short term, HYPE still faces some selling pressure, and it remains to be seen whether capital will flow back in.
