【One-minute explainer】Who writes price feeds on-chain?
Pull-based oracles store signed prices off-chain. When making a transaction, the app submits the price along with it, and the on-chain contract uses it only after verifying the signature.
With pull-based oracles, prices are put on-chain only when needed, so they can be updated more promptly. But the app must check whether a price is stale; otherwise, it may read an outdated price.
$PYTH and $LINK are the tokens of the Pyth and Chainlink oracle networks, respectively.
It’s best to use only funds you can afford to lose.
