If you're running a node, upgrade.

Bitcoin Core just disclosed three vulnerabilities
found by AI code scanning.
Two medium-severity, one low-severity. Patches are out.

The most serious one:
a malicious peer can crash Core
on Windows and Mac.
Linux is unaffected.

The project expedited disclosure
for easily discoverable vulnerabilities,
without holding them back for long as before.

If you're running a full node,
upgrade to the latest maintenance release now.

$BTC is still on-chain.
If your node goes down, only your local connection is lost.
But there's no reason to leave the vulnerability unpatched.

Don't put off upgrading your self-hosted node.
