Sony’s Soneium on-chain entertainment incubation program is now accepting applications. Applications open October 29 and close in December.
The selection period runs from November 2026 to March 2027. The first two cohorts included 43 projects spanning four areas: gaming, anime, music, and film and television.
In my view, Sony isn’t just jumping on the on-chain bandwagon—it’s bringing its strongest entertainment content to its own chain. Whether it succeeds depends on whether the selected projects actually create content or merely use an on-chain label.
Gaming, anime, music, or film and television—which do you think will take off first on Soneium?
Follow me, and I’ll share the selected projects as soon as the list is announced.
