$FLR’s Flare announced in the early hours of Oct. 29 Beijing time that it has been added to the XRP Ledger Foundation’s recommended validator list.
Flare is a blockchain designed to bring external data and assets like XRP into DeFi. Its FXRP lets XRP be used on-chain.
Flare said that nodes following this list will now count Flare’s vote when voting on new ledgers and protocol amendments.
The list comprises the validators that most nodes trust by default when the XRP Ledger reaches consensus. This means Flare has gone from being a developer in the ecosystem to directly participating in the operation and maintenance of the ledger.
