October 29, 2026 | Today’s latest market morning briefing: Google plunges 10.17%, AI tech stocks reverse course, and crypto falls too.

Crypto friends, yesterday $GOOGLB fell 10.17% in after-hours trading following its earnings report. Google Cloud revenue grew 103%, but net income fell from $34.98 billion to $26.17 billion, while capital expenditure is set to rise sharply again in 2027. Demand for computing power is booming, but the market is beginning to price separately whether shareholder profits can keep pace.

In the market, $SOXLB fell 5.25%, while SKHYNIX still gained 3.58%. Storage suppliers and tech companies making huge investments are moving in different directions. BTC fell 1.34% and ETH fell 2.49%; $NEAR and ZEC dropped 5.77% and 5.33%, respectively. Crypto assets have yet to see sector rotation, suggesting that money isn’t flowing in.

The Fed held interest rates at 3.75%–4%, with two officials supporting a rate hike. An attack on Saudi oil facilities also pushed oil prices higher, while the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose overnight to 5.034%, weighing on gold (XAU). Energy inflation and interest-rate pressures are holding back safe-haven buying.

On the 27th, BTC ETFs saw $176 million in inflows, while ETH funds saw $60.2 million in outflows; BlackRock’s figures for the 28th are not yet complete. If tech stocks continue to fall and ETH keeps seeing outflows, altcoin rebounds will face more selling pressure.

Today, watch for PCE, GDP, and the tech stock market open. Here’s my question: If you’re betting on AI, would you rather invest in companies selling computing power, or companies spending money to buy it? #代币化黄金XAUa上线Sui
