Fewer rate-setting meetings

The Fed chair finalized the plan after the meeting:
the schedule will change starting next fall.

There will still be eight meetings a year,
but one will be devoted solely to strategy,
with no rate vote.

There won’t be a statement either.
The year after next, there’ll be another strategy meeting.
That means fewer meetings that actually set rates.

For crypto,
what’s dwindling is the number of tradable rate catalysts,
not the number of meetings.
