Securitize plans to bring Stellar on board as well, announced on October 28 at the Meridian conference in Lisbon.
As of September 30, 2026, Securitize’s own tokenized securities totaled around $5 billion. Tokenized assets on the Stellar network amounted to about $3.77 billion, ranking fourth on October 28. The top three were Ethereum at $15.9 billion, BNB Chain at $6.3 billion, and Solana at $4.9 billion. The first asset and launch date have yet to be announced.
In my view, this is still just a plan, not a live deployment. But Securitize’s choice of Stellar instead of focusing only on the largest networks suggests that institutions prioritize regulatory compliance and settlement compatibility when choosing a network—not just the size of its existing market.
Which side are you on: should institutions choose compliant networks first, or the largest networks first?
Follow me, and I’ll be the first to let you know when Securitize announces its first asset on Stellar.
