U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $176 million on October 27.
BlackRock’s IBIT saw $151 million in net inflows, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $24.5 million. The other products had no net inflows; meanwhile, U.S. spot ETH ETFs saw net outflows of $60.2 million.
My take is that the concentration matters more than the total: money flowed into just two products while the others saw no activity, and institutional funds clearly favored Bitcoin that day.
Would you view the $176 million as the start of institutional money flowing back in, or just scattered buying during a one-day rebound?
Follow me, and I’ll be the first to break down any sustained changes in flows to U.S. spot ETFs.
