By 2027, more investors may shift to supervising AI-generated investment decisions rather than making those decisions themselves. On September 28, MEXC launched a tool that connects users’ AI agents to the exchange to prepare and execute trades, with confirmation required for key actions. A MEXC survey of 3,708 cryptocurrency traders found that 84.8% had used AI for research or trading. MEXC CEO Vugar Usi expects investors to delegate more decisions to autonomous agents, but AI assistants do not prove that investors can replicate professional trading performance. Whether investors remain in control depends on whether they understand the permissions they delegate and can revoke them.
