As cryptocurrency groups mobilize voters for the November 3 midterm elections, Coinbase has contributed $57.8 million to political spending, and Ripple has contributed $49.6 million. Mason Leno, executive director of Stand With Crypto, believes crypto voters could tip the balance in closely contested races. Leno said Stand With Crypto has more than 3.1 million supporters. The crypto-focused political action committee Fairshake and its affiliated groups reportedly still had nearly $95 million as the election approached. Leno remains optimistic about bipartisan crypto legislation, even if Democrats win control of the House or Senate.
