$NBIS Up 8.22% in one day, while peers gained only 4% on the news
Price at $166 (24-hour rolling change: +8.22%)
The daily candle that surged to 166 intraday and was pushed back down to 156 by the close has been completely swallowed today.
I think the rebound still has room to run. The next hurdle is the 12-day high of 192.24.
Before Monday’s open, Musk sounded the alarm about debt risks at neocloud companies, and all three opened lower.
The next day, CoreWeave’s first data center in Denmark went online and its seven-country network plan came to fruition. Nebius followed with a 4% gain.
Nebius is also building data centers in the US and Finland, and it’s in the same business as CoreWeave.
Today, NBIS doubled the 4% gain its peer made that day. The greater upside is on its side.
Trading volume over the past three days was 1.9 times the average volume of the previous 20 days. Today’s 8.22% bullish candle came on strong volume—not a brief spike with no buyers behind it.
The daily RSI is still in the weaker half of its range. The MACD histogram has narrowed for five straight days, so the decline is slowing, but there’s still a way to go before momentum turns bullish.
The 20-day moving average at 182.20 is overhead, above the current price. The trend hasn’t reversed, so for now, I’d view this move as a recovery.
The round-number level at 150 is where that high-volume daily candle found a bottom and rebounded. A break below it would end this rebound.
I think the next move is toward 192.24. As long as 150 holds, the rebound remains intact.
