Ripple announced that Bank of New York Mellon (BNY) has begun providing custody services for XRP and the U.S. dollar stablecoin RLUSD to eligible institutional clients. Ripple said eligible clients can use BNY's digital asset custody platform to securely store, hold, and transfer these assets. Ripple added that BNY plans to support tokenized assets and investment products on the XRP Ledger. Ripple also said BNY and Ripple are exploring tokenized supply chain financing with working capital platform C2FO.
