Binance regularly reviews its markets to ensure that it continues to provide users with a high-quality trading environment. As part of this process, we may review trading pairs that do not meet certain criteria in areas such as liquidity and trading volume. Binance Japan (hereinafter, the “Company”) uses the same platform as Binance Global, so the same applies to the Company’s customers.
As a result of our recent market review, we will delist the following spot trading pairs on October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Japan time).
October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Japan time): ATOM/BTC, ETC/BTC, RENDER/BTC, TAO/BTC, THETA/BTC, XTZ/BTC
Important notes:
JPY (Japanese yen) is legal tender.
This is only a delisting as a spot trading pair; the asset itself will not be delisted.
Accordingly, the spot trading bot service for the above trading pairs will also be discontinued on October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Japan time). If you are currently using this service, please cancel it before the service is discontinued in order to prevent losses or other issues.
In line with this decision, service provision in the “spot” format for Cosmos (ATOM), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Render Token (RENDER), Theta Network (THETA), and Tezos (XTZ) will be temporarily suspended. We will notify you again regarding the timing of resumption.
Details regarding the temporary suspension are as follows.
(1) Names of the cryptocurrencies to be temporarily suspended: Cosmos (ATOM), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Render Token (RENDER), Theta Network (THETA), Tezos (XTZ)
(2) Start date and time of the temporary suspension: October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM
(3) End date and time of the temporary suspension: Undecided
(4) Reason for the temporary suspension: Due to declining liquidity and trading volume
(5) Since this is not a delisting of the cryptocurrency itself, we do not plan to return it.
