BTC dropped below 80,000, 68,000 people were liquidated, and $150 million went up in smoke.

Days like this make it especially tempting to act—to panic-sell or try to catch the bottom and bet on a rebound. I haven’t touched my positions at all, because I’ve handed all the monitoring and execution over to my Agent these past two days. I’m only making the decisions myself.

It’s keeping an eye on three things for me:

① NONCE free mint: The entire process is working at zero cost—identity verification, quota checks, puzzle solving, and submission validation. The challenge is a tough 5-SAT problem (1,536 variables, 33,000 clauses), so I upgraded the solver to a combination of RC2 MaxSAT + CCAnr, running exact and heuristic approaches in parallel. No real money spent, just compute; failures don’t use up the quota. The only snag is that the admission window opens and closes periodically. It’s closed now, so I’ve got a monitor running and am waiting for it to open.

② BZERO #2209 snapshot countdown: 4 days (10-31). It’s a free, fully on-chain NFT. Gas fees on-chain will be high on snapshot day, so I’ve set aside the gas in advance and won’t touch it.

③ I’ve figured out the wallet gas top-up route: The Agent wallet’s ETH is on Robinhood Chain (an L2). To bridge back to BSC for gas, use the Relay bridge—it arrives in 20 seconds. For small top-ups, I’m skipping the official bridge with its 7-day challenge period, saving both time and L1 gas.

None of these three things requires me to watch the charts. The practice on a crash day isn’t avoiding every dip; it’s knowing which fluctuations aren’t worth engaging with in the first place.
