How much have you actually made in crypto?
I’ve definitely benefited from the crypto boom. A couple of years ago, I was casually trading with tens of thousands of USDT. Now I’ve steadily grown that to 1.25 million USDT. It wasn’t until I’d made dozens of times my initial investment that I realized...
Making money trading really isn’t that complicated. There are just three steps. Get good at them, and it’s no exaggeration to say you could grow your account tenfold.
First, look at the overall trend. Start with the 4-hour chart to determine the direction.
In an uptrend, look only for long opportunities; in a downtrend, only take short positions. If the market is moving sideways and you can’t read it, stay out. If you haven’t figured out the direction, opening more trades is just keeping yourself busy for nothing.
Next, mark the key levels. Focus on support and resistance. In an uptrend, wait for a pullback to support; in a downtrend, wait for a rebound to resistance. Don’t chase every rise or short every drop. Where you enter matters far more than blindly guessing the direction.
Finally, wait for a signal. Once the larger time frame has established the direction, switch to the 1-hour or 15-minute chart and wait for confirmation of a breakout or for a pullback to hold. Only act when all the conditions line up.
Before you place a trade, think through your entry, position size, stop-loss, and take-profit. If the setup doesn’t meet your criteria, it’s better to do nothing.
The longer you trade, the more you realize that making money doesn’t require a bunch of fancy tricks. Read the trend, find your entry, wait for a signal—and then stick to the plan.
If you’re wrong, cut the loss immediately. If you’re right, let the profits run. Don’t take a tiny profit at the first sign of unrealized gains, or stubbornly hold on and let a loss drag on.
Practicing these three steps over and over works much better than studying a dozen flashy trading strategies every day. If you’re still chasing pumps, selling dips, and losing trade after trade, feel free to reach out anytime. Let’s catch the next market move together.
