How can someone trade crypto for five years without getting liquidated, while growing 5,000 USDT into more and more? It comes down to three things: protect your profits, manage risk, and wait for opportunities.

When you make money, take some off the table. Pull out part of your profits after each winning trade, and set your take-profit and stop-loss levels before you enter. Don’t let profits you’ve already made slip away.

Use multiple timeframes together: the daily chart to determine the trend, the 4-hour chart to find support and resistance, and the 15-minute chart to time your entry. Follow the broader trend, limit each trade’s loss to 1%–1.5% of your capital, and aim for a risk-to-reward ratio of around 1:3.

Accept that you’ll be wrong sometimes. You don’t have to win every trade. As long as your losses are limited and you let your winners run, you can make a profit over the long term.

I stick to three rules: split up my capital and never go all in; stop trading after two losses in a row; and regularly withdraw profits as my account grows.

The dumbest thing in crypto trading is taking profits too early but stubbornly holding onto losing positions. If you want to gradually grow 5,000 USDT, what matters isn’t how much you make each day—it’s being able to withstand losses and hold on to gains. There are opportunities every day, but your capital can’t take repeated punishment.
