Indicator Notes|$TIA |5-minute volume surged 25.8x|Price fell 0.56%
Definition: Volume spikes over short periods can be quite noisy. A volume spike in just one or two candlesticks may simply be caused by a single large order; sustained high volume over a period of time is more informative.
How to read it: After a substantial decline, if volume surges but the price stops falling, some people may interpret this as a sign of buying support. However, this also needs to be confirmed by subsequent price action.
Don't chase trades during the most volatile minutes. Wait for the candlestick to settle before taking a closer look.
