PREDICT enters premarket: the price has its own rules

Binance’s announcement, published and updated on October 25, sets the start of PREDICTUSDT at 08:15 UTC. Public data confirms that the contract is active as PREMARKET.

Predict.fun is a prediction market platform on BNB Chain, where the outcomes of future events are traded. This contract is a perpetual on PREDICT, settled in USDT; it does not represent a stake in any specific event.

During premarket, the mark price is calculated every second using the average of trades over the previous 10 seconds. If there were fewer than 21 trades in that interval, the prices of the most recent 20 trades are used. This rule matters: a figure on screen does not necessarily correspond to an available spot price.

The initial funding rate is 0.005% per four-hour interval and may be adjusted. This is a contract mechanism, not a promised return. The transition to a standard perpetual depends on Binance being able to build a stable index using spot markets; this launch does not guarantee a listing on Binance Spot.

Data and market perspective: at 11:05 UTC on October 25, the public API showed a mark price of 1.51852 USDT. This is a reference for the derivative during its first few hours, not a definitive valuation of the project. It is worth distinguishing between price, liquidity, and costs: limited depth can widen price swings and slippage, and leverage adds liquidation risk. This contract has not yet had a full day of trading.
