How is DASH doing? An analysis requested in the chat.

First of all, let’s remember that Dash (DASH) and Zcash (ZEC) belong to the same broader market narrative—“privacy coins”—although they differ significantly in technology and positioning.

And ZEC has long been playing the “leading role” in the narrative, guiding prices across this coin segment. As for ZEC, you know what we expect: a very long correction or a range-bound market. We gave our forecast on the 19th, when the asset was near its highs, while some analysts were predicting further gains above $3,100. Our verdict was—and remains—the same: we don’t expect the asset to reach new ATHs anytime soon.

Therefore, #DASH will either follow suit or go its own way. In the latter case, it makes sense to study the charts to understand the prospects for that path.

First, the asset began its correction right after our indicator gave a Strong signal of a potential high on the daily timeframe on September 4–6. The same signal appeared on the 2-day timeframe, where buyers failed to hold above the $62.06–$73.52 liquidity zone. Strong signals of a potential high also appeared on the 3-day timeframe, where the price became stuck in a wider liquidity zone of $38.54–$89.23.

Second, since October 8 it has been in a steady downtrend on the same daily timeframe, with the base targets of $45.96 and $39.97 still not reached. Until a daily candle closes above the $50.21–$53.27 liquidity zone, we expect a move down toward the stated targets.

Overall, those who subscribe to our indicator understood that in September they needed to reduce risk on their longs/spot holdings or open short positions.

Overall, the asset looks good for continued growth, as it has sustained uptrends not only on the weekly timeframe but also on the 2-week timeframe. We show the liquidity zones there, which act as support and resistance.

The monthly timeframe deserves special attention. The price is holding the 50 EMA as support, but has been unable to break through the $53.44–$79.72 liquidity zone since 2023. New all-time highs for the coin are possible only if a monthly candle closes above $79.72.

Overall, given ZEC’s risk profile as the flagship of its segment, we would consider buying only after it returns to a sustained uptrend on the daily timeframe.
