During the European session, $BTC got even weaker: now ~$80,550 (-1.5%), $ETH ~$2,365, $SOL ~$102. Only $BNB is still holding steady at ~$738. The market isn’t being kind to anyone who blindly jumps in 😅
Why is tonight different from a weekday? It’s Saturday — Wall Street is closed, but crypto keeps running 24/7. That means liquidity is usually thinner on weekends, and wild wicks are more likely. Price can hit your stop-loss and then bounce right back as if nothing happened. Plenty of traders got wiped out yesterday: 24-hour liquidations totaled ~$467 million, mostly LONG positions.
📌 TONIGHT’S WATCHLIST
1️⃣ $BTC: $80,000 is a psychological level. Below it, the $79,500–$80,000 area is a caution zone, with $78,000 as the next support. For things to feel “safe again,” $BTC needs to reclaim ~$81,800.
2️⃣ $ETH: around $2,350 is today’s low. If that area breaks, altcoins usually get dragged down too.
3️⃣ $SOL ~$102 & $BNB ~$738: the two holding up best — watch which one moves first; that’s usually an early sign of rotation.
4️⃣ Calendar: September CPI is out, and all eyes are now on the FOMC meeting on Oct. 27–28. Even institutions are taking a wait-and-see approach — spot $BTC ETFs have seen outflows for 2 days in a row (Thursday $635 million, Friday $138 million).
✅ 3-point checklist before entering tonight:
• Are the levels clear? Don’t enter in the middle of nowhere; wait for price to get near a key level.
• Is your stop-loss outside the wick zone? In thin weekend markets, a stop that’s too tight is an invitation to get swept.
• Can you leave it alone while you sleep? If your position keeps you awake, it’s too big.
