Bitcoin nearly put me to sleep today.
Over 24 hours, it moved just $971 in either direction, with a 1.19% range—the narrowest in two days.
Looking back: the range was 4.9% over 48 hours the day before yesterday, and 1.37% over 24 hours last night.
Now it’s 1.19%—getting flatter by the day. The candlesticks are practically sleeping upright.
The shitcoins next door haven’t been idle:
PEPE had a 15.7% 24-hour range, BONK 11.2%—
more than ten times Bitcoin’s.
Big money is waiting for the Fed’s Oct. 28 rate decision, playing dead;
small money is chasing thrills in shitcoins. The split couldn’t be clearer.
Even BNB has stalled. It couldn’t hold $750.5 and slipped back to $744.
In a market like this, randomly making moves is worse than playing dead—and playing dead is worse than sleeping.
