🇨🇳 China bans crypto… but wants to complete its own national blockchain network by 2030. A contradiction? Not really.

📌 The facts (Oct. 23, 2026)
• The Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission publishes the “National Informatization Plan” for the 15th Five-Year Plan
• Goal: national blockchain network “basically built” by 2030
• Yangtze River Delta: blockchain for trade and finance
• Chengdu–Chongqing: large-scale deployment in industry and agriculture
• The same plan also targets commercial 6G “at the appropriate time”

🧠 How it works
A blockchain is a shared ledger that’s difficult to falsify. Beijing keeps the tool (traceability, data exchange), but without open crypto like $BTC : a controlled network, no speculation.

👤 Imagine Fatou (a fictional character), who imports spare parts from China for her shop in Dakar. If invoices and certificates of origin are recorded on a shared ledger, there are fewer fake documents and fewer disputes.

⚖️ A caveat: the text sets a target, not a how-to guide. No public details on access for foreign companies.
