Robinhood has received authorization from Dubai’s Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to bring its retail investing platform to the Middle East.
The approval covers trading and custody across multiple asset classes, including cryptocurrencies, stocks, ETFs and investment tokens. Robinhood will establish its regional headquarters at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with its platform launch planned for 2027.
This is another step in Robinhood’s international expansion. For crypto, the important part is that users in the region could eventually access digital assets through a familiar mainstream investing platform.
