【HSBC launches a stablecoin in Hong Kong, putting wallets in the hands of 3.3 million PayMe users 🏦💥】

HSBC launched a Hong Kong dollar stablecoin in Hong Kong on Friday, with 3.3 million people getting access to a wallet first. This isn’t a white paper or a small-scale pilot. PayMe users can activate it in the coming days. One banking app has suddenly gained a gateway into crypto. 🏦
The coin is called RedCoin, with the ticker RCHKD. It’s pegged one-to-one to the Hong Kong dollar, so its price doesn’t rise or fall. HSBC’s own digital asset custodian safeguards the funds. Users can make transfers and merchants can accept payments, all within PayMe. In my view, this is what makes a bank-issued stablecoin so powerful: no need to switch to $USDT or cash out. 💰
HSBC received a Hong Kong stablecoin issuer license this April. At the time, only two institutions in the entire city had been approved, and HSBC was one of them. It took just six months from receiving the license to making the coin available to retail users. That’s faster than many blockchain upgrades. ⏱️
The other licensed institution launched HKDAP first, in August. That coin was initially for institutions and professional investors. HSBC has taken the opposite approach, starting with people who buy groceries every day. I’ve seen too many projects line up to court institutions; this time, HSBC has gone straight after retail users. 🛒
HSBC has also laid out a timeline: the wallet will be added to its Hong Kong mobile banking app by the end of the year. Users will then be able to subscribe to tokenized fund units with stablecoins. Wholesale payments for businesses and institutional settlements are also in the works. A complete path from pocket money to clearing is taking shape. 🧾
Bitcoin $BTC is currently trading at $81,728. It’s down 0.43% over the past 24 hours, and the price is still grinding along the bottom. Big banks are building stablecoin rails, while crypto prices barely react. I think the fact that these two things are happening at the same time says a lot. 📉
📌 In a nutshell: From today, the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin is cash in your wallet, not just a concept.
Would you be willing to swap your everyday spending money for a bank-issued stablecoin?
【Malaysia and Thailand’s central banks join BLOOM; three central banks start using stablecoins to rebuild the cross-border highway 🏦🌏】

Bank Negara Malaysia and the Bank of Thailand joined BLOOM on Friday. The Monetary Authority of Singapore only launched the project in October 2025. Now three central banks are sitting at the table. The old cross-border remittance pipeline is being used to test stablecoins. 🏦
BLOOM’s six letters stand for boundaryless, liquid, open, online, and multi-currency. The Monetary Authority of Singapore says banks no longer have to negotiate payment channels with each counterparty one by one. Institutions can launch new services faster, and cross-border payment costs come down too. 🌐
BLOOM is built on Project Orchid, launched in 2021. That initiative focused on exploring potential uses for a digital Singapore dollar. Participants now include Airwallex, Mastercard, Ripple, Visa, and the World Bank Group. This lineup feels less like a pilot and more like a dress rehearsal. 🌍
Bank Negara Malaysia made a separate announcement this February. It said it would test three initiatives involving ringgit stablecoins in 2026. The intended uses are clearly spelled out: domestic and cross-border wholesale payments. Its own timeline was already in place. 📅
I’m more interested in the AI agent payments. The document says AI agents can execute payments within preset limits. Set a limit, and a machine can pay on behalf of a company. But nobody has clearly said who’s responsible if something goes wrong. In my view, this is more likely to go off the rails than stablecoins themselves. 🤖
The market has barely reacted for now. Bitcoin is at $81,798, down 0.24% over 24 hours. Those who need $USDT are still using it as usual. $XRP hasn’t been moved by this news either, down 0.32% over 24 hours. Central banks are building the plumbing for a decade from now; traders are watching tonight’s candlesticks. 📉
📌 Three central banks have put stablecoins on the cross-border payments timetable. The first thing to watch in 2026 is the ringgit test.

【Ethereum ETFs bounced back for just one day, while BlackRock alone pulled out $75.45 million📉🔥】
Group chat: 🌟 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进
Ethereum spot ETFs saw net outflows of $110.5 million in a single day. The recovery lasted just one trading day. On October 21, they had recorded net inflows of $14.96 million. $ETH 's money is moving faster than the price.💸
BlackRock's ETHA saw $75.45 million in outflows in one day. That’s more than the net outflows across the entire market. BlackRock's ETHB also shed another $17.17 million. Grayscale's ETH saw $10.69 million in outflows, while its ETHE saw $9.56 million. All four funds saw withdrawals—none held up.📉
Fidelity's FETH was the only fund to see inflows. Its net inflows for the day totaled just $2.37 million. One fund in, four funds out—this is a pretty ugly picture. In my view, institutions remain very hesitant about Ethereum.🤔
Trading volume was fairly high, at $550.22 million for the day. ETHA alone accounted for $417.54 million. Ethereum ETFs had total net assets of $14.57 billion, equivalent to 5.01% of Ethereum's market cap. Cumulative net inflows remained at $12.71 billion.📊
Just before publication, $ETH was trading at $2,407, down 1.11% over 24 hours. It dipped as low as $2,360 intraday. The price hasn't crashed, but the money has already pulled out. I've seen this kind of divergence a few times, and it usually isn't a good sign.🧭
Ethereum is also under pressure from the delay to the Glamsterdam upgrade. The $110.5 million outflow on October 22 shows that investors aren't willing to wait. In plain English: the good news hasn't arrived, so the money is leaving first.😐
📌 One day of recovery, then it all flowed out: Ethereum ETFs saw $110.5 million in net outflows, with BlackRock's ETHA alone accounting for $75.45 million.
Do you think this wave of outflows from Ethereum ETFs is short-term portfolio rebalancing or a trend reversal? #以太坊现货ETF #以太坊现货ETF持续净流出
【BlackRock’s IBIT saw $254 million withdrawn in one day as Bitcoin ETFs posted $635 million in net outflows 😱🔥】
Group chat: 📲 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
On October 22, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $635 million in net outflows. BlackRock’s IBIT alone saw $254.1 million withdrawn. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $217.5 million. Together, the two funds accounted for $471.6 million, or 74% of the day’s total. 😱
ETFs had seen strong inflows over the previous three days. On October 19, they took in $526.7 million. On October 21, another $524.8 million came in. Total inflows over the three days reached $1.0747 billion. Yesterday’s $635 million outflow gave back about half of those gains. 💸
ARK’s ARKB saw $109.4 million flow out yesterday. Grayscale’s GBTC lost $29.5 million. Bitwise’s BITB was down $27.4 million. These names don’t usually get much attention. Yesterday, they were all on the same outflow list. 📉
There was only one positive number on the whole board: Morgan Stanley’s MSBT recorded $2.3 million in net inflows. It was the only fund still adding assets that day. One fund standing against a whole lineup of major players heading for the exits makes quite a striking contrast. 🔍
Looking at the four days together, from October 19 to 22, ETFs still saw net inflows of $439.1 million. The money at $BTC hasn’t all left; it’s just changing hands. In my view, pulling back $600 million after $1 billion flowed in over three days isn’t a collapse. What really matters is whether inflows return next week. 🤔
Bitcoin ETFs have $104.7 billion in total assets, a 6.41% share of the market, and $57.321 billion in cumulative historical net inflows. Taken together, these figures show that the money is still in the market. Short-term shifts in holdings don’t mean a long-term exit. 📊
📌 In a nutshell: IBIT and FBTC saw a combined $471.6 million withdrawn—the only collective retreat in four days. Don’t mistake it for an ETF collapse.
The Ethereum Foundation hit the brakes on October 22. Glamsterdam, originally scheduled to go live on the Hoodi testnet on the 26th, has been put on hold. The reason is a security vulnerability—not a lack of staff. ChainSecurity flagged 13 real-world projects. That number is still climbing. 😱
Ethereum is changing how Gas is accounted for in $ETH . The proposal consists of EIP-8037 and EIP-8038. One sets aside a separate reserve for newly created state. The other raises the cost of accessing existing state. The goal is to make fees reflect actual resource consumption. ⛽
The problem lies in how failed transactions are handled. Under the old rules, the whole transaction reverts when it runs out of Gas. The new rules refund some of the Gas. An attacker could deliberately cause a transaction to run out of Gas and block withdrawals. Users would be unable to retry, either. 🔒
ChainSecurity published a report on October 13. The number of publicly known cases has now reached 13. The affected projects are DeFi apps that handle withdrawals and batch transactions. The security firm is privately notifying these teams. Contracts need to be audited immediately. ⚠️
The Hoodi testnet’s Gas limit was supposed to increase to 200 million. That plan has also been put on hold. At the start of the year, the Ethereum Foundation had planned to launch in the first half. In September, the activation was pushed back to December. Now even a December launch isn’t certain. 📅
Personally, I think hitting the brakes was the right call. Changing Gas accounting means all existing contracts need to be reviewed again. The 13 cases are probably just the beginning. For $ETH holders, the scaling narrative will have to wait a little longer. 🧐
📌 Glamsterdam is held up by Gas accounting; the October 26 testnet launch is canceled, 13 contracts have been flagged, and the December mainnet launch is uncertain.
【U.S. freezes $1 billion in “cybercurrency”; Trump says more than $20 billion was stolen last year 😤💸】
Group chat: 💬 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进
The White House held a roundtable on Wednesday. Trump announced on the spot that $1 billion in “cybercurrency” had been frozen. It’s a term he made up himself—not Bitcoin or Ethereum. Not once during the entire meeting did anyone say “crypto.” 😤
The figure Trump cited was the cost of cybercrime in the U.S. in 2025: more than $20 billion for the year. That $20 billion includes impersonation scams, ransomware, and overseas scam compounds. He didn’t say how much of it was related to cryptocurrency. I asked myself twice why that detail was missing. 🤔
When U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche spoke, he steered clear of crypto. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin talked about “digital extortion.” Trump himself used the old term “cybercurrency.” Three people, three different terms—none willing to say “cryptocurrency.” 😅
I watched these clips of their remarks closely, and it didn’t seem like a slip of the tongue. The White House wants to crack down on overseas scam compounds without labeling the entire industry. Bitcoin is now at $82,000, down 1.5% over 24 hours. The market barely reacted to the meeting. 📉
At this scale, $20 billion is actually easier to trace on a public ledger like $BTC . What’s really hard to move is all the cash and stablecoins held by the compounds. The $1 billion frozen is just the first cut. The bulk of the rest is still off-chain. 🔍
This White House meeting felt more like a show of intent; not a word was said about enforcement details. They didn’t explain how the frozen money would be returned to victims. In my view, after a meeting like this, the market will carry on as usual. What matters is whether they actually arrest anyone next. 🧐
📌 In a nutshell: The U.S. froze $1 billion in “cybercurrency,” and Trump put the annual cost of cybercrime at more than $20 billion—but nobody onstage was willing to say the words “cryptocurrency.”
Do you think freezes like this can really get money back into retail investors’ hands? #特朗普拟阐述打击海外加密诈骗
【Nvidia tokenized stocks see $3.1B in quarterly trading as on-chain stock trading jumps 9x 📈🔥】
Group chat: 📲 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
Nvidia tokenized stocks saw $3.1 billion in trading volume in a single quarter. An ARK Invest report says spot DEX trading in tokenized stocks jumped about 9x to $50 billion. In Q2, this accounted for just 1%; now it’s 9%. Personally, I think the slope says more than coin prices do. 📈
Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain are leading the way, with $13.7 billion and $16.5 billion in trading volume. Solana is next at $6.9 billion, while Base hit $1.7 billion thanks to Coinbase. In Q1, it reached $65 billion in DEX trading volume and $51 million in revenue, just shy of BNB Chain’s $54 million. I’m surprised it got this far in its first quarter. 🏦
The hottest sellers were Nvidia and the S&P 500 ETF Trust, with $3.1 billion and $2.5 billion in trading volume. Tokenized shares of AMC and GameStop each saw about $700 million. Total spot DEX trading volume rose 13% to $571 billion, marking its first quarterly growth in four quarters. Put simply, there are finally real stocks to trade on-chain. 📊
Stablecoins are what’s underpinning trading, with $781 billion in transaction volume. Tron processed $576 billion, accounting for 74% of the total. $167 billion in stablecoins sits on $ETH, representing 54% of its supply. My take is pretty simple: business follows the money. 💰
ARK Invest also sounded a note of caution: Robinhood Chain’s revenue may not be sustainable. It raised its gas parameters, wiping out the high fees. Perpetual futures open interest rose 76% to $24 billion, while trading volume fell 16%. I don’t think that’s a bad thing—traders are taking positions seriously. ⚖️
The spot DEX share of trading relative to centralized exchanges returned to 23.3%. RWA market cap rose 19% to $39 billion. Monthly active stablecoin addresses increased 39% to 73 million. $BTC is still hovering around $82,000. 🔍
📌 Tokenized stock trading is up 9x, and on-chain trading is shifting into a new gear.

【Chainlink, Cardano and four other teams pressure the SEC: Put digital commodities in the actual rules 📜🔥】
Group chat: 🔥 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
On October 20, Chainlink Labs and the Cardano Foundation sent a letter to the U.S. SEC. Hedera, Aptos, Ava Labs, and the Stellar Foundation also signed it. Together, the six organizations are demanding that “digital commodities” be written into the actual text of the rules—not just the explanatory notes or footnotes. It needs to be in the part that actually takes effect. They submitted the letter right up against the deadline. 📜
Footnotes and staff guidance don’t carry the force of law. If someone else interprets the rules differently, yesterday’s position can change today. These six organizations say the current framework doesn’t establish digital commodities as a separate category. To me, the request sounds straightforward—and hard to argue with. ⚖️
Behind these six organizations are six tokens: ADA, LINK, HBAR, APT, AVAX, and XLM. On March 17 this year, they were named in a footnote to SEC guidance. The footnote linked them to futures regulated by the CFTC. Being named doesn’t mean they’ve been granted any official status. A later document could override that footnote at any time. Holders of $LINK and $ADA should be watching this closely. 🔗
The SEC proposed this framework in August and received around 140 comments over 60 days. On the deadline, Ripple also submitted a separate letter. The various parties want different things from those 140 comments. The SEC will consider whether their arguments are convincing enough. 📮
In my view, this letter won’t change the tokens’ status today. The SEC isn’t obligated to adopt it word for word, and the final version could look very different. Put simply, this is a fight over who gets to define the terms—not a catalyst that’s already taken effect. If the definition goes in the main text, the six organizations win halfway. If it goes in an appendix, it’s as if nothing happened. 🧭
Bitcoin is hovering around $82,000 today. The market hasn’t reacted to this letter at all. ADA and LINK haven’t moved either. Policy news doesn’t play out the same day. I’d rather treat letters like this as background noise, not a signal to enter the market. 💬
📌 The six organizations want a clear answer. The SEC hasn’t agreed yet.
Can this letter get the definition into the actual rules? Let’s talk in the comments. #六家区块链机构吁SEC定义数字商品
【BlackRock’s IBIT pulled in $663 million in one day, wiping out all of Bitcoin ETFs’ October losses 🔥📈】
Group chat: 📲 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
BlackRock’s IBIT pulled in $663 million on October 21. That’s the biggest single-day inflow in two months. The money wasn’t spread across a dozen ETFs—it all poured into this one. The net outflows from the first half of October were wiped out overnight. I looked at these $BTC figures twice. 💰
As of October 20, BlackRock’s IBIT had $66.37 billion in assets under management, the most of any fund in the market. The fund just broke its own record for daily inflows, set in September. Previously, the money was spread across a dozen ETFs; this time, IBIT got it all. Institutions have changed how they buy Bitcoin. They’re only interested in the biggest, most liquid fund. 🏦
Bitcoin ($BTC) is currently at $82,900, up just 0.03% in 24 hours. The price has slid from $87,000 at the end of September to around $82,000. $84,300 has become the first hurdle for this rally. For buyers to prove themselves, they first need to reclaim that level. 🎯
My personal take is straightforward: there isn’t more money—it’s just become pickier. $663 million flowed into a single fund. Big money trusts liquidity and scale. Smaller ETFs aren’t even getting the scraps. This trend has become increasingly clear this year. For retail investors, watching ETF flows is much more useful than watching candlestick charts. 🧠
One day of inflows won’t change the long-term picture. ETFs were still seeing net outflows in the first half of October, and sentiment can turn in the blink of an eye. The $80,000 support level has already been tested several times this year. If the price really falls below $79,800, the money that came in earlier could leave even faster. That’s my assessment—don’t mistake a single day’s data for a trend. ⚠️
Europe is opening up, too. The spot Bitcoin fund approved by Swiss regulator FINMA, ticker BBIT, is set to list on the Swiss exchange in November. BlackRock is attracting US institutions; Switzerland is attracting European retail investors. 🌍
📌 The full $663 million went into BlackRock’s IBIT, wiping out October’s outflows in one day. Bitcoin is still $1,400 short of $84,300.
【Meta fined $25 billion by New Mexico for 43 million violations 🔥💰】
Group chat: 🌟 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
Meta was fined $25 billion by New Mexico. A jury found that Meta lied about user data. There were 43 million violations, each carrying a maximum fine of $5,000. Judge Francis Mathew cut the state's requested $219.5 billion down to $25 billion. It’s one of the biggest fines ever imposed on a tech giant. 💸
The old Cambridge Analytica case became the basis for this ruling. The case took ten years to pursue, and back then the company was still called Facebook. The jury found that Meta concealed how it used data. Attorney General Raúl Torrez said no company is too big to be held accountable. ⚖️
$25 billion is equivalent to two and a half quarters of Meta’s net profit. Meta’s net profit in the third quarter was $9.86 billion. In August, it had just settled with dozens of states for $17.1 billion. The fine increases by 15% each year, so it will keep growing if payment is delayed. 📉
Meta Chief Legal Officer C.J. Mahoney has already said the company will appeal. He argues that this amounts to taxing online speech. But the jury has already found that the data was used to make money. 🗣️
When I look at this fine alongside $BTC , the contrast is stark. On-chain transfers—how much and to whom—are visible to everyone in the ledger. With a platform’s books, you can only take the platform’s word for it. When something goes wrong, the fine is $25 billion, but users don’t get a cent. That’s also why I don’t recommend betting your entire net worth on a single company. 🔐
My take is pretty basic: the bigger the fines get, the more it shows that the data business is still profitable. Meta’s 26% year-over-year revenue growth is proof. Whether it wins the appeal or not, the fine will become a cost of doing business. Ordinary people get no compensation—that’s the most painful part. 🤔
📌 In one sentence: Meta racked up 43 million violations and got a $25 billion fine; users get nothing.
Do you think this fine should be even higher? Let’s talk in the comments. #meta
【French government bond yields top 5%, Carrefour plunges 14%, Bitcoin instead rises 2.2%📉🇫🇷】
Group chat: ⚖️ 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
France’s 10-year government bond yield topped 5% on Wednesday. It’s the first time since 2002. On the same day, Carrefour’s share price crashed 14%. $BTC , by contrast, rose 2.2%, reaching $83,350. Taken together, these three things are more interesting than looking at any one of them alone.😳
First, the unrest in France. Riots escalated into looting and vandalism over the weekend. Officials estimate the damage could run to hundreds of millions of euros. The unrest began with student protests in Paris last month. Now the whole country is caught up in it.⚡
The bond market is more on edge than the streets. France’s deficit stood at 5.1% of GDP at the end of last year. The EU wants it brought down to 3%. Prime Minister Lecornu plans to cut spending by €54 billion. Parliament is divided, and the budget is stuck. Finance Minister Lescure warned that, if necessary, he would force it through using Article 49.3.💰
The real economy is feeling the pain first. Carrefour lowered its guidance on Wednesday. Its statement used the words “unprecedented.” In other words, the unrest is hurting business. The stock fell 14% in a single day—the clearest sign yet.🛒
The link to crypto is clear. French government bonds are a benchmark for pricing across the eurozone. With yields topping 5%, investors demand more compensation for holding French debt. Money may go into dollar assets or seek out things that don’t rely on sovereign credit. Bitcoin rose 2.2% today. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.🏦
My take is pretty simple: 5% isn’t the end of the story. Ahead of France’s election next spring, this number will be tested repeatedly. When Europe’s risk premium rises, risk assets all get shaken. $BTC won’t escape either. But when sovereign credit comes into question, Bitcoin is one of the few assets that can offer an alternative.🧭
📌 In a nutshell: this warning bell from France’s bond market is a new tax on global risk assets.
Do you think this latest turmoil in France will turn into Eurozone Crisis 2.0? #法国国债 #法国加密监管
【Ripple spent $150 million on a lawsuit, and now it's pushing the SEC to make the rules clear 🔥⚖️】

Ripple spent $150 million on a lawsuit. On October 20, Ripple submitted a comment letter to the SEC. It made just one request: set the rules soon. At lawyer billing rates, that money could buy several buildings. ⚖️
Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty published a lengthy post. He said the SEC has full authority to establish this rule. The old approach of taking on one crypto project at a time drove projects overseas. What he wants is a comprehensive set of rules, not another lawsuit. 📄
The SEC's August draft is called Reg Crypto Assets. The first tier lets startups raise $5 million over four years. The second tier allows up to $75 million in 12 months. To use the second tier, they have to provide more disclosures and financial reports. 🧾
The draft also includes a safe harbor provision. It is meant to determine when an issuer has fulfilled its promises. Once those promises have been fulfilled, the token is no longer tied to an investment contract. This provision is most important for long-running projects like $XRP . 🔍
Six other blockchain networks also signed the letter alongside Ripple. Chainlink, Hedera, Stellar, Aptos, Avalanche, and Cardano all added their names. They want the words “digital commodities” included in the text. Alderoty added that having once been part of an investment contract doesn't automatically make something a security. The key is whether the issuer's promises have come to an end. 🔗
In my view, $150 million bought one question: “What exactly does the law say?” That's an incredibly expensive lesson. The comment period closed on October 20, but the SEC says it will continue accepting comments. Whether the final draft retains the safe harbor will be the real test for $XRP . 💭
📌 Ripple spent $150 million on a lawsuit, all to push the SEC to make the rules clear once and for all.
【Solana just cut confirmation time from 6 seconds to 150 milliseconds ⚡😳】
Group chat: ⚖️ 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
Solana just scrapped the 6-second confirmation time it had used for five years. Alpenglow officially went live on mainnet today. Transaction finality has dropped from around 6 seconds to around 150 milliseconds—about 40 times faster, quicker than the blink of an eye. ⚡
This is a change to the consensus layer, not a minor patch. Alpenglow moves validator votes off-chain. Votes are bundled into certificates, allowing transactions to be finalized in just one or two rounds. Previously, every validator wrote its votes into blocks. Ethereum takes about 13 minutes to reach full finality. 🧩
Validator costs are changing too. Solana validators used to burn around 2 $SOL a day on voting fees. Now they pay an entry fee of 0.8 SOL per epoch. An epoch lasts about 24 hours, which works out to savings of around 60%. 💸
The rollout wasn’t smooth. Since the testnet launched in early May, it was wiped and restarted six times. One network-wide migration failed outright and had to be rolled back. Galaxy Digital’s postmortem goes into the details. It only succeeded on the final attempt, clearing the way for today’s launch. 🛠
Here’s the point I think is easiest to misread. Raiku founder Robin Nordnes offered a reminder: Solana’s transaction count will drop noticeably this week. A large share of the numbers used to come from validator votes. Those have now moved off-chain, but transfers and trades are still there. 👀
The transition began at epoch 1064, with the change taking effect at slot 459,653,000. Just before publication, $SOL quoted a price of $106.18. It was up about 1.4% over 24 hours, after reaching a high of $108.25. The price didn’t go wild. 🤔
📌 Solana has cut confirmation times to 150 milliseconds and costs by 60%. The real win is whether it can sustain that performance.

【Musk pushes to merge Tesla with SpaceX—together, they’d have 30,221 bitcoins 🔥🚀】
Group chat: 🌟 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
Musk said something on Tuesday during SpaceX’s earnings call. He thinks Tesla and SpaceX should become one company. Combined, they’re valued at $3.5 trillion—a figure higher than the GDP of many countries. The independent directors of both companies are already in talks. Musk himself, meanwhile, has been kept out of the room. 🚀
The part that really matters to us is their Bitcoin holdings. Tesla reported holding 11,509 coins. SpaceX reported 18,712 on the same day. Put them together, and that’s 30,221 $BTC on the books. At the current price of $82,000 per coin, that’s about $2.5 billion. That would put the new company sixth among publicly traded companies. 💰
So who’s ahead of them? Strategy alone holds 848,517 coins. In sixth place, they’d be joining a field dominated by mining companies and fund giants. The merged company wouldn’t have to buy a single coin to join that club. In my view, that’s the part most likely to be overlooked. 🏦
SpaceX’s third-quarter earnings were impressive, too. Total revenue was $14.6 billion, up 161% year over year. The biggest standout was its superintelligence business, which brought in $7.6 billion in a single quarter. That’s an 830% year-over-year increase, making it the company’s largest source of revenue. This business barely existed last year. Now it’s carrying the whole report. ⚡
But a deal is still a long way off. Musk himself said not a single word of the terms has been finalized. The shareholder vote at Tesla faces a high bar: it needs approval from holders of 50% of all shares. That’s not 50% of the people who vote—it’s 50% of all shareholders. Abstentions count as votes against. 🧩
$BTC hasn’t reacted much, rising just 0.87% in 24 hours. The current price is $82,817, and the market hasn’t priced this in yet. My take is simple: a merger of this scale could keep people talking based on the treasury alone. The rest depends on whether the directors can reach an agreement. 🕰
📌 The merger isn’t a done deal, but those 30,221 coins are already sitting on the books.
Do you think this deal will go through? Let us know in the comments. #股票财报季 #SpaceX #特斯拉
【Switzerland makes an exception for Bitcoin—retail investors have waited a full five years⛰️🇨🇭】
Group chat: 🚀 加入X先生的粉丝群聊跟进行情
Swiss regulators have always been conservative. This time, they carved out an exception to their own rules for Bitcoin. On Tuesday, FINMA approved an ETF that directly holds $BTC , making it available to retail investors. The last time it opened the door was in 2021. That time, it was only for qualified investors, and the product held a basket of cryptocurrencies. Retail investors have been left outside the door for the past five years.📄
The most important word in the approval wasn’t “approved”—it was “exception.” Swiss fund law requires funds to diversify their investments. Betting on just one asset usually doesn’t meet that requirement. FINMA’s reasoning was straightforward: Bitcoin has a longer trading history and far higher trading volumes than other cryptocurrencies. This exception was earned through more than a decade of market data.📜
The details are also restrained. The regulator hasn’t disclosed the issuer or said when the ETF will be listed. It only mentioned that several institutions have submitted applications. The safeguards cover three areas: custody, operational risks, and investor disclosures. The door is open, but people are still standing at the entrance.🚪
Don’t confuse this with the Bitcoin ETPs already available in Switzerland. Those ETPs are debt securities governed by exchange rules. They don’t need FINMA approval at all. This time, the approval was granted under the investment fund framework, which means it had to clear the requirements of fund law. Same country, two different rulebooks—and a very different level of significance.⚖️
My take: Switzerland hasn’t suddenly fallen in love with Bitcoin. It’s done the math. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $527 million in net inflows on Monday. Money is flowing into regulated channels. Whoever builds the channel first gets to collect the tolls first. $BTC is now at $82,900. The price hasn’t moved, but the rules have.💵
And to be fair, FINMA also stressed the risks of volatility. It said investors could lose a substantial portion of their principal. Swiss people aren’t unfamiliar with crypto. Back in 2023, the city of Lugano began accepting BTC and USDT for municipal fees. Being able to buy doesn’t mean you should. The easier the tool is to use, the easier it is to get carried away.🧊
📌 The significance isn’t Switzerland itself. It has given other European regulators a template they can copy.

【Switzerland puts Bitcoin in a public fund—the door to Europe opens first 🏔️🔥】

The U.S. is still insuring Bitcoin. Switzerland has opened the front door. Today, FINMA approved the first Bitcoin ETF for retail investors. For the first time, Switzerland has put Bitcoin within the framework of an approved public fund. Until now, you could only buy ETPs there—not funds. ⚖️
This is a single-asset fund. All the money goes into Bitcoin. Normally, public funds aren’t allowed to be so concentrated. FINMA granted a special exemption from the diversification rules. The reasoning was clear: Bitcoin has a long trading history and high trading volumes. 🏦
The custody standards are also spelled out. Under the regulatory notice dated January 12, 2026, if the custodian goes bankrupt, clients’ coins won’t become part of the bankruptcy estate. Sales must also comply with the conduct rules under Fidleg. Risk warnings must be clearly displayed. This arrangement effectively treats custody risk as a separate issue. 🔐
The issuer’s name hasn’t been disclosed. Several media outlets have pointed to a Swiss asset manager. The regulator hasn’t denied it. The name isn’t the point, so let’s set that aside. Switzerland has been selling Bitcoin products for years. But those were all ETPs, which couldn’t be held in fund accounts. 📄
The U.S. approved spot ETFs back in January 2024. IBIT launched on January 11. It now manages about $65 billion. In my view, the size isn’t what matters—the status is. Fund status means it can be held in investment accounts. Bank distribution channels and exchange orders are two entirely different worlds. 💰
Today, $BTC is trading at $81,467, down 0.85% over the past 24 hours. The price hasn’t moved, but the regulatory landscape has. I’ve seen this kind of disconnect more than once. Hype can be misleading; regulation isn’t. The really big money never comes in at the height of the hype. 📉
📌 One Swiss fund got approved, but a gate has opened for European asset managers.

【The economy is still enjoying good times, but banks have already prepared for a 40% drop 🔥📉】

Dimon gave an interview to The Wall Street Journal today. He started by praising the strength of the U.S. economy. Corporate profits have grown significantly, and unemployment remains low. Leverage among businesses and consumers isn’t particularly high either. He described this as a genuinely good time. That was the most relaxed part of the interview.💼
In the same interview, he said he’s already preparing for a 40% drop. That was quite a sharp turn—the economy had just been getting praise. After praising the economy, he immediately started talking about how to guard against a crash. He also said JPMorgan had conducted extremely thorough analyses of every type of risk. He doesn’t even try to guess when these things might happen. He also noted that recessions are often caused by several factors piling up.⚠️
There are three things he’s concerned about. First, persistent inflation that has lasted for five years. Second, massive fiscal deficits that keep piling up. Third, geopolitical uncertainty caused by wars overseas. None of this is new, but he’s willing to say it while markets are near their highs. Those who call him pessimistic may not understand what he’s doing.🏦
The contingency plans go beyond a single number. JPMorgan has run scenarios based on a 40% stock-market drop. It has also modeled bond credit spreads widening by two to three times. If spreads double or triple, borrowing costs for businesses rise accordingly. He said this isn’t about predicting market levels. It’s preparation for making it through the worst day.📊
Markets are already falling today. Asian markets are usually the first to send a signal. South Korea’s stock market fell more than 2% intraday. $BTC is currently at $81,447, down 1.89% over 24 hours. Ethereum is at $2,385, down 2.36%. Compared with a 40% drop, all of these moves are small fluctuations.📉
Personally, I see 40% not as a prediction, but as a stress test. Banks aren’t smarter than you; they simply have to survive the worst day. What individual investors can learn from this isn’t how to guess market levels. It’s where to set the limits on position size and leverage. If you really calculate based on a 40% drop, Bitcoin at 81,000 would fall to 49,000. Crypto leverage is an order of magnitude higher than in the stock market, and the same goes for $BTC .🎯
📌 The key point is that banks are calculating what a 40% drop would mean, while the market is down just 2% today.
【Bitcoin falls, it fronts the money; Bitcoin rises, it takes its cut first 💰🔥】

When Bitcoin falls, nobody in the market is there to catch you. Now BlackRock says: I’ll cover this part, $BTC . On October 19, it filed registration documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a Bitcoin-protection ETF called PBIT. The name sounds like a principal-protected investment, but that’s not what it is. What it sells is insurance with a cap. 📄
The fund won’t directly hold a single satoshi of Bitcoin. Instead, it layers three options strategies, one on top of another. The strike price of the options it buys is set around 10% below the reference price. The call options it sells directly cap the upside. So first, it gives you a buffer of about 10%. 🧮
The rest of the money will mainly go into cash and short-term Treasuries. Money market funds and bonds also count toward that 80%. The interest earned helps cover the cost of those options. Basically, you pay a premium in exchange for a floor that’s supposed to cushion the fall. But that floor isn’t guaranteed—it could move lower at any time. The filing itself says volatility and fees can eat into the protection. ⚠️
BlackRock isn’t new to this space. It already has a flagship spot Bitcoin fund, with net assets of around $65.3 billion. It’s the world’s largest spot Bitcoin fund. Now it’s creating a second kind of product: one that doesn’t chase gains, but protects against losses. This registration may not become effective until 75 days from now. 📊
Personally, I don’t think this is designed for longtime Bitcoin holders. It’s aimed at money that can’t stomach drawdowns, like pension and insurance funds. Its previous income-focused product launched in June. This time it’s protection-focused—the direction is clear. BlackRock is making Bitcoin look more and more like a traditional asset. 🎯
The flip side is that your upside gets cut off. If a bull run really takes off, this will probably underperform Bitcoin itself, $BTC . The filing also lists risks involving options liquidity, interest rates, and counterparties. My portfolio is fairly aggressive, so I wouldn’t buy something like this. But I know there’s a lot of money waiting for this kind of packaging before it dares to enter the market. Insurance is never free. 🧐
📌 Bitcoin hasn’t become a principal-protected asset; it just has a new wrapper that cushions the first 10% of losses.
【Not listed yet, and OpenAI already has a price 💥🤖】

A company that hasn’t gone public yet got a price on-chain last night. On October 19, Pump.fun added tokens for eight private companies to its trading platform. The list includes OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as robotics maker Figure AI. These tokens were issued on Solana and offer price exposure only. Anyone who wants to buy no longer has to wait for an IPO. 💥
The mechanics are simple. Previously, launching a new coin meant using SOL or a stablecoin as the trading pair. Now, “pre-IPO” tokens can be used as quote assets. The platform calls this feature Custom Pairs. It launched on September 9, and the range of eligible pairs was expanded on October 8. 💡
The price moved first. After the news broke, $PUMP rose 8.41%. It’s now back at $0.004409. The reasoning is straightforward: new trading pairs bring in fees. Those fees go toward buybacks and burns, and 17.2% of the fixed supply has already been burned this year. 🪙
The catch is in the fine print. These tokens offer only “synthetic exposure”—no equity and no voting rights. The companies themselves neither issue nor endorse them. U.S. users can’t buy them at all. The SEC granted tokenized stocks a five-year innovation exemption, while keeping these synthetic tokens out. ⚖️
In my view, the issue isn’t whether you can buy them. It’s the cost of trading. Overseas users pay a 3%–5% token fee just to make a short-term trade, before even factoring in slippage. After a few round trips, a chunk of your principal is already gone. If you’re hoping to make 1%, you’re down 2% as soon as you enter. 🧮
Put simply, this is more like putting a price screen on the private market. The screen being lit up doesn’t mean anyone is actually trading at that price. The price can be hyped, but equity doesn’t come with it. No matter how fast $PUMP rises, that won’t change. Whether you dare to touch it depends on whether you can stomach it going to zero. 🚩
📌 8 companies, 17.2% of supply burned, 3%–5% fees, +8.41%—what’s hot is the traffic, not ownership.
