Asian stocks fell sharply on Thursday, with the CSI 300 dropping 2% into a bear market. The CSI 300 has lost 20% from June's peak as technology shares weaken and higher oil prices increase investor concerns. Bitcoin reversed an advance above $84,000 and retreated toward $82,000. WTI crude rose above $100 a barrel. Brent crude exceeded $112 a barrel, reaching the highest levels since May alongside WTI.
