82,500. This is the one number to watch today. South Korea’s KOSPI fell 2.2%, led lower by Samsung and SK Hynix. $BTC slid from above 83,000 to 82,288, down 0.63% over the past 24 hours.

The logic is simple. Samsung and Hynix are upstream cash-flow generators in the global AI supply chain. When they fall, it means the market is repricing AI capital expenditure: Tesla cut capex and fell 3% after hours; Lam Research gave a weak outlook and dropped 7%; Nasdaq 100 futures followed, down 1.1%.

BTC is now a high-beta risk asset, moving in tandem with the Nasdaq. It can no longer serve as a hedge.

So the key level is clear: if 82,500 holds, expect consolidation. If it breaks, the next reference point is 70,000, with few high-volume trading zones in between to provide support. That’s the one number I’m watching.
