To be honest, recent charts haven’t been very interesting.
It’s been stuck in the $0.325–$0.345 range for months, 24.9% below its December high of $0.4407.
But on October 21, an important development took place that had nothing to do with the chart.
The OCC, the top U.S. banking regulator, has finalized its rules for dollar stablecoins.
What does this mean for TRON?
Put simply, it’s about whether USDT can fit within the regulatory framework.
Following the passage of the GENIUS Act, banking regulators have finalized rules for handling stablecoins, creating an environment where banks and institutional investors can handle USDT more easily.
About 46% of the world's USDT runs on TRON. If the stablecoin market grows as regulations take shape, TRON stands to benefit the most.
What's interesting is that the price hasn't reacted to the news at all.
The chain of events—clearer regulations → increased demand for USDT → higher fee revenue for TRON—makes logical sense.
But TRX isn't moving.
Whether you read this as “the market is skeptical” or “it hasn't been priced in yet” changes how you view TRON.
I think it's the latter, but I'm not certain.
Sometimes charts don't lie either 😅
