Turned 2,800 U into 2.1 million, with zero liquidations along the way. Just three simple tricks.

This quarter, I coached a complete beginner. They started with 2,800 U, reached 120,000 within a month, and are now holding steady above 300,000. The key is, they never got liquidated—not through luck or going all-in.

First trick: Go all-in and you’re asking for trouble; split your funds to stay in the game.

Don’t expect to turn 2,800 into a fortune with one trade. Here’s how I split it: 1,000 for day trades, one trade a day, then close it when the time comes—don’t get attached. Another 1,000 for swing trades: get in and hold for ten days or half a month, waiting for a move. The remaining 800 stays in reserve, untouched by anyone. That’s your cushion for a comeback. If you go all-in from the start, it’s not the market that cuts off your options—it’s you. You have to stay in the game before you can talk about winning.

Second trick: Trade less, and focus on the big moves.

The crypto market spends 80% of its time moving sideways. If you’re in and out every day, all you do is rack up fees. If a trend hasn’t emerged, I sit tight and wait to get in when things line up.

One more hard rule: Once your profits exceed 20% of your principal, immediately withdraw 30% and convert it to U. It only counts as yours once it’s secured. Making money is actually pretty boring: set your take-profit level and let the profits run. Emotions are a retail trader’s biggest expense.

Third trick: Keep risk under control and let profits compound gradually.

Don’t dismiss a small starting balance. You can grow 2,800 without a miracle trade—just lock in profits with disciplined position sizing instead of giving them back. If you’re losing sleep over a few hundred U, first ask yourself whether you can protect that 800-U reserve.
