I took profit and closed out all the trades from yesterday’s livestream.
When Ethereum surged to around 2,526 yesterday, I felt there wasn’t much room left to go up, while there was more room to fall, so I started looking for short entries in batches.
That’s how short-term trading works: don’t chase longs just because the price is rising, or chase shorts just because it’s falling.
Sometimes getting the direction right isn’t enough—if your entry is off, you can still get burned.
I took my profits and got out after yesterday’s move. Today, I’ll look for new opportunities; there’s no need to cling to yesterday’s bias.
Long or short doesn’t matter. What matters is actually pocketing the profits that are there for the taking.
