Last night my mindset completely broke down. Around 11 p.m., I closed the long position on $BTC . I had originally made up my mind to hold on and wait for the big move, but in the end I still couldn’t hold it. I was afraid of getting trapped again. Recently the market has just been swinging back and forth, trapping people over and over. If you have a bit of profit and don’t take it, it quickly drops back and traps you again, and then it’s back to the painful waiting, burning through funding fees. It’s really exhausting and not worth it.

Last night it rebounded to 84377 and I barely got out with a small profit, so I gritted my teeth and closed it anyway. I didn’t expect to have even escaped the top, and this morning I looked and it had dropped again.

This time I got trapped several times in this trade, and I’ve been stuck for quite a while. For now I’m not planning to buy the dip back in. I’ll wait and see; if it breaks below 8, then I’ll talk about it later. I’m trading coin-margined positions, and my spot holdings are BTC. I’ll first put them into fixed-term wealth management to earn some interest and calm myself down, and I won’t rush into trading for now. Looking at the current macro situation, it doesn’t seem very good and leans bearish, so I’ll wait until it drops harder before buying the dip and opening longs again. This time I need to control my hands, not rush in. I’d rather miss the move than get trapped again. It’s too painful. If I think about it differently, even if I sold too early last night and it suddenly surged afterward, I’ll just treat it as spot. As long as there’s profit, that’s fine. I need to get my mindset right first. $SOL
