#股票财报季 U.S. stock market analysis: A SpaceX earnings report reignited the AI trade, but don’t rush in with your eyes closed

On Wednesday’s close, the three major indexes all finished higher. The Nasdaq led with a 1.05% gain, the S&P notched its third straight rise with a 0.58% increase, and the Dow climbed 0.69% to a more than one-month high. The main driver was just one thing — SpaceX’s quarterly report reignited the AI narrative, and capital rotated out of bonds and energy back into tech.

The market action was very straightforward:
Semiconductors, memory, and optical communications all strengthened together. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose nearly 2%, with 28 of its 29 constituents advancing and only Lam Research declining. AMD rose 3.36%, TSMC gained 1.6%, Western Digital climbed 3.89%, and CRDO jumped 6.28%. Both the memory ETF and the optical communications ETF rose more than 2%.

Crypto-related names also heated up, with Strategy up 7.54%. Chinese ADRs painted a different picture: the Golden Dragon Index fell 2.35%, Alibaba dropped 3.87%, and TAL Education fell nearly 9%.

Bonds and commodities were telling another story: France’s 10-year government bond yield briefly broke above 5% intraday, hitting its highest level since 2002; Brent crude held above $109, and gold prices moved higher amid volatility. Geopolitical risks and fiscal concerns are still there, but they did not steal the spotlight that day.

In one sentence: the AI trade is back, but this time it is a return validated by earnings — SpaceX’s 830% SI growth told the market that money can be made, and only then did capital dare to pile in. Going forward, the key is whether this logic can be replicated across more companies, rather than simply chasing semiconductor stocks higher.$SPCX $SOXL $KORU
