🚨 “170 #BTC dormant for 13 years woke up,” but only 5.34 BTC actually moved.
On-chain data shows that at 07:05 this morning, the wallet 1NhWce spent just one batch of coins it had received in August 2011—about 3% of its balance. The remaining 165.15 $BTC stayed put.
More interestingly, it didn’t wake up alone.
Two hours earlier (04:49), another old address, 14kpxq, which had received coins from it in 2013, also moved first: 0.49 BTC, with 25 BTC left.
Both transactions sent a small amount to the same address.
Moving a small amount first while leaving the bulk untouched looks more like testing a wallet than dumping coins.
But the two wallets still hold around 190 BTC combined. Where they go next is what matters.
