Woke up at 1 a.m. and checked the charts—$ZEC was holding above 1330.
The 24-hour high broke 1350. In yesterday’s daytime post, I wrote that it had topped out at 1296, and now it’s climbed nearly 60 more. It hasn’t pulled back much after the spike, and for now, 1330 seems to be holding.
There’s no shortage of news today. In an interview the day before yesterday, Winklevoss came right out and said, “$ZEC can easily break above 5000.” His reasoning: the more powerful AI gets, the scarcer financial privacy becomes, making $ZEC an AI hedge in the crypto world. The ETF side has some real money behind it, too: on the 20th, $ZEC spot ETFs saw net inflows of $1.61 million, making it the only altcoin ETF to attract inflows that day.
His math is pretty blunt: $ZEC ’s market cap is currently about 2% of BTC’s, and he thinks privacy should be worth 10%, so he starts with a fivefold upside. Believe it if you want; fair enough if you don’t.
That’s all for the charts.
