A sustained uptrend has formed in BTC on the 7-hour timeframe as well. Key targets: $83,926, $84,854, $85,783. The potential breakdown level is $81,604. Price is in the 83,114–84,012$ liquidity zone, which is acting as resistance on this timeframe.

What to do? We’ve decided not to take any action to reduce our short position while the downtrends on the 12- and 18-hour timeframes remain in effect.

Still, the presence of three potential-high markers on BTC’s weekly timeframe, and a fourth additional marker on a number of altcoins (including top coins like ETH, BNB, and SOL), is a signal we cannot ignore.

We see this week’s rise more as a way of luring traders into long positions, until the trend proves otherwise. For now, the trends don’t support this view; the fresh uptrend on the 7-hour timeframe is evidence of that. But to reiterate, we’re waiting to see how things play out on the 12- and 18-hour timeframes. If the downtrends there are absorbed, that would be a genuine bullish signal for us and could open the way to test the psychological $90,000 level.
