Strive is aggressively increasing its Bitcoin holdings
Its purchases in a single week once again surpassed Strategy’s!
Strive is starting to steal the spotlight from Strategy when it comes to institutional Bitcoin buying.
According to the latest disclosure, Strive bought 4,045 BTC between October 12 and 16, spending approximately $335 million at an average purchase price of $82,803.
Strive now holds 36,818 BTC, surpassing MARA to become the world’s fourth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder.
More notably, Strive bought a total of 7,356 BTC over the past two weeks and also plans to continue expanding its reserves through a $630 million preferred stock offering.
However, these purchases are primarily funded through equity financing, which increases the number of shares outstanding as the company adds BTC. For shareholders, growth in total holdings does not necessarily mean that BTC holdings per share are also increasing.
Institutions are still willing to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin, but where that money comes from matters just as much. $MSTRB $BTC $ETH
