IOST is climbing the gainers list—if I chase now, will I be left holding the bag? 👀
At midday, Binance’s market page listed $IOST among the top gainers. At this point, a more important question than “how much higher can it go?” is whether buyers looking to get in can absorb the sell orders.
I’d look at two things first:
① The bid-ask spread and order book depth. A rapid rise doesn’t necessarily mean it’s easy to get a trade filled; chasing with a market order could mean taking a hit from slippage right away.
② Whether it can consolidate after the sharp rise, then break out on increased volume. If it falls back into the consolidation zone and then can’t reclaim it on a bounce, I’d drop the scenario of continued gains.
These are conditions to watch going forward, not signals that have already appeared. Ranking among the top gainers also doesn’t mean it’s still accelerating right now.
