😅 Last night, a news story that was later denied sent $BTC up nearly $1,600 in half an hour.
Even more surprising: the story was denied, but BTC climbed back above $83,000 this morning.

📌 What happened:
• Around 22:00 on 10/20 (UTC+8), reports emerged that the U.S. and Iran had "preliminarily agreed" to a peace plan brokered by Qatar and Pakistan. BTC surged from 81,648 at 21:45 to 83,243 before 22:15.
• Iran later denied that an agreement had been reached. At 23:00, BTC briefly plunged to a low of 82,211 on the 15-minute candle.
• Then it gradually climbed overnight. It’s now around 83,170, higher than before the news broke.

💭 My take: The market doesn’t really care whether the news is true or not. My guess is that the real fuel was an overcrowded short position—a single headline was enough to spark a rally.
So I wouldn’t chase a "peace deal" headline, nor short just because of a "denial." I’m only watching to see whether BTC can hold above 83,000.

Do you think this is a real breakout, or did a headline just sucker the market into moving up? Disagree? Let’s debate 👇
