$BTC spot ETFs saw net inflows of $527 million on Monday, their largest single-day inflow since September 22. Yet BTC was still hovering around $82,900 this morning.

As of 7:30 this morning, BTC was at $82,922, up 1.04%; $ETH was up 1.52% at $2,446.7, and $XRP was up 2.36% at $1.3367.

BlackRock accounted for all the inflows: IBIT added $665.2 million in a single day, while Fidelity and Grayscale saw combined outflows of $138.5 million. Spot ETH ETFs have seen outflows for four straight days, and BTC ETFs have recorded net outflows totaling $90.5 million so far in October.

Liquidations across the crypto market totaled $297 million over 24 hours: $168 million in short positions and $128 million in long positions. The rebound is squeezing shorts (CoinGlass, yesterday).

My view: today’s range is $80,000–$85,000, with a weak bias. Inflows are being propped up by IBIT alone, while ETH is still bleeding. Unless BTC breaks above $84,400 on strong volume and holds there, the rebound may run out of steam and prices could head lower. This is not investment advice.
