Last night's surprise airdrop for old coins, $CT , had an unexpectedly high threshold of 255 points. Is Alpha coming to an end?

1. Don’t read too much into it:

There are currently around 90,000 people on Alpha. The total number of airdrop allocations over the past 15 days was 72,000, which means some people haven’t managed to get even one during this cycle.

Last night’s $CT airdrop was a consolation airdrop for those people, so they wouldn’t end up with nothing after running around with full points and losing money on fees.

2. Why do I guess tomorrow’s airdrop threshold will be very low, but still think it’ll be around 237 points?

I’m just guessing based on airdrops over the past 15 days. The situation now is that there’s been less than one airdrop per person on average this cycle. In other words, accounts with around 1,000 USDT are all at 240+ points now; accounts with around 10,000 USDT or trading competition accounts would also need to get two airdrops to reach 240+ points.

If yesterday’s wallet booster task hadn’t deducted 2 points from 10,000 people, I might have guessed around 240 points today.

3. Alpha point thresholds haven’t just been high this month—they’ve been high since July. Take it in stride.
