$CRV gained 4.84% in 24 hours, with six-hour buying returning to 52%; expectations for lending expansion now include a concrete governance variable.

On the 19th, risk service provider yRisk published an emergency agent upgrade proposal on the Curve forum, proposing to extend Emergency DAO authority to the new lending system. In the event of risk, it could set limits on new borrowing or treasury deposits to zero, or pause the deployment of new markets.

These controls fill a gap in emergency response for the new business, while making “how much can be borrowed and how long expansion can continue” factors for holders to monitor. The proposal remains under governance discussion. Setting limits to zero applies to new capacity; existing debt remains. Whether the business can deliver growth depends on actual borrowing and fees.

As of 13:00 Hong Kong time, CRV’s full 24H spot trading volume was 5.72 million USDT, up 70% from the previous window. In the latest 6H period, its price shifted from a 1.66% loss to a 1.36% gain, while buying rose from 49.7% to 52.0%. Over the same period, AAVE gained 1.08% and UNI was unchanged. CRV’s gain was slightly stronger, but trading volume was 11% lower than in the previous 6H, so the return of buying still needs follow-through.

Holders with existing CRV event positions can retain the portion of their liquid holdings supported by current relative strength, while those with additional leveraged positions based solely on rapid lending growth can reduce them in stages. Reassess the position size if borrowing and fees grow and buying remains sustained. If new capacity is restricted and spot buying weakens, continue to reduce event exposure.
