Impatiently chasing quick gains makes rational trading impossible. When many people enter the crypto market, their first thought is: “I want to make money.”
But the reality is that every market follows the 80/20 rule: 20% of people reap the rewards, while 80% pay to learn their lessons.
If your understanding is lacking and you don’t have enough experience, how could we make money if you don’t lose any?
This may be hard to hear, but it’s the truth.
Take the GTC trade I made over the past few days, for example. My followers and I positioned ourselves for a trend-following long on GTC.
I remember one follower entered with 20,000 USDT. At first, he was caught in a small drawdown: the price fell from 0.22 to 0.19, and he started to panic.
I told him: “Don’t rush. It’ll definitely bounce. Technically, it’s already starting to form a bottom, and funds are continuing to flow on-chain. It hasn’t even been listed on the spot market yet—this is just the prelude to a move. Give the market some time. Even the major coins have crashed by 240 points; how much have these more volatile altcoins really fallen? The price level where I’d add to my position hasn’t even been reached yet.”
Not long after, a huge bullish candle broke straight through the previous high, and he made 400,000 USDT on a single futures trade.

Honestly, I won’t boast about having a “100% win rate,” and I certainly won’t pretend to be a “guaranteed-profit guru.”
But I can say that my patience and serious approach speak for themselves: my accuracy and win rate have consistently stayed above 90%.
My approach is simple: I don’t chase frequent trades. I look for a steady position with a favorable risk-reward ratio.
The first lesson in crypto is how to survive.
Don’t keep thinking you can go all in and get rich overnight. You’ll only end up as an “overleveraged blowhard.”
A true expert knows how to wait for the best opportunities the market has to offer.
Frequent trading doesn’t necessarily make you more money than patiently holding a position.
I’ve always believed that there are no followers who can’t learn—only XX who can’t teach.
If you truly want to go the distance in crypto, first learn to read the market, manage your position size, and stay patient.
That’s the key to staying on top.@渔歌趋势
